According to the plan, the prisoners were to first kill all the SS men, then break into the weapons depot and deal with the guards. At that time, there were 550 prisoners in the camp, of which 130 people took part in the uprising. Desperate people had to flee through minefields under the bullets of the guards. About 80 brave prisoners died, and all who remained in Sobibor were shot by the Germans the next day.
