Increasingly, Hollywood studios are in no hurry to announce a sequel to any film and prefer to wait for the reaction of critics, the first results of the box office. This is not surprising, because in recent years there has been a bleak tendency: viewers are not ready to spend money on watching the second, third and subsequent parts, if their existence is justified by only one goal - to earn more money. Therefore, the decision of the Legendary studio to continue the film “Pokemon. Detective Pikachu "three months before its premiere may seem very strange and risky, although recently rumors appeared in the press about the emergence of an entire MCU of Pokemon.Apparently, the major believes that the viewers will like the Pikachu fiction film. At one time, Pokemon became a real international sensation: children from all over the world watched the adventures of Pikachu and his friends in the anime, collected cards, and a couple of years ago the world almost went crazy because of the Pokemon Go app. The full-length film is a slightly different beast, which is a comedic detective story in which the title character turns into a private detective wearing a cap a la Sherlock Holmes.  Detective Pikachu is directed by Rob Letterman. He wrote the script for the film with Nicole Perlman, but for the sequel, Legendary has already selected another author. Oren Uzil ("Macho and Nerd 2"), which in recent years is in great demand in Hollywood, will be engaged in the continuation. He is the screenwriter for The Cloverfield Paradox and Sonic in the Movie, and is also working on the Supergirl solo album for Warner Bros.. In USA cinemas “Pokemon.
