Idris Elba will go up against Hobbs and Shaw
When serious guys like former Diplomatic Security Officer Luke Hobbs and recruited mercenary Deckard Shaw get down to business, they need a match. According to the Variety portal, the creators of the Fast and the Furious spin-off see Elba as the antagonist of Idris. While the Golden Globe winner is negotiating with Universal Studios, Dwayne Johnson has already shared the good news on social media.Since the details of the film are still kept secret, almost nothing is known about Elba's role other than that he will confront Hobbs and Shaw. Given the actor's British origins, it can be assumed that his character will turn out to be an old acquaintance of Deckard's since his time in the British army.
