The idea to create the film came to Hitchcock during a conversation with American journalist Otis Guernsey, who told the director an amazing story about how during the Second World War British intelligence created fictitious agents to misinform the Abwehr leadership. North by Northwest is widely regarded as one of Alfred's strongest works and holds a fantastic 99% rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Recall that a new film by Christopher Nolan was announced at the end of January. The name of the painting is still kept secret, but today there are first rumors about its genre. Hollywood insiders claim that Christopher will try his hand at creating a romantic thriller.
