The film rights to the novel about Artemis Fowle were sold by writer Jon Colfer back in 2001, when the book first hit store shelves. For years, the project shuttled from studio to studio, changing scriptwriters, until Disney got involved in 2013. And now, a few years later, the House of Mouse is ready to present a film about the child prodigy and the heir to the criminal Fowl dynasty. The first poster of "Artemis Fowle", which depicts the titular character, got into the LostFilm.INFO gallery. His role, by the way, went to an unknown Ferdia Shaw, but the stellar company for the young actor was chosen - Judy Dench, Josh Gad. The shooting of the film was headed by Kenneth Branagh, who had already collaborated with Disney on a new version of Cinderella. The House of Mouse just needs successful projects, since this year two large-scale films of the studio, "A Wrinkle in Time" and "The Nutcracker and the Four Kingdoms", failed at the box office. Also in today's selection you will find a poster for the thriller Lizzie Borden's Revenge, in which Chloe Sevigny and Kristen Stewart will act out a drama that shocked the public in the late 19th century, as well as a poster for a remake of the film What Women Want. True, this time the gift of reading the thoughts of the opposite sex will be given to a woman - a sports manager performed by Taraji P. Henson.
