Teenage Goosebumps
While the future of The Flash remains uncertain, directors John Francis Daly and Jonathan M. Goldstein, who are set to lead the blockbuster movie about the fastest man on Earth, are wasting time. Even if Warner Bros. decides that Barry Allen deserves a darker film than Daley and Goldstein want, they will not part with comedy.The Universal studio launches The Creeps ("Goosebumps" *). Daly and Goldstein will direct, write and produce the project. Unfortunately, the details of the picture were not disclosed, but it is known that it is a comedy horror about growing up. Perhaps viewers will even get something similar to Mysterious Events, only with a decent dose of humor. The Universal project is perfect for Daley and Goldstein. They are no strangers to teen stories thanks to the blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming, but there are a lot of comedies in the duo's filmography. Critics were particularly impressed by last year's Night Games, which successfully combined humor with suspense. It remains to be seen how Daley and Goldstein will cope with the horror genre.
