If we talk about the full meter, then the last time Drew Goddard, nominated for an Oscar for the script "The Martian," tried his hand at directing six years ago. The horror film "Cabin in the Woods" was enthusiastically received by critics, and some of them even called the film a masterpiece that turned the whole idea of the genre upside down. And in the fall, Goddard will again try to surprise the audience - this time with the thriller Nothing Good at the Hotel El Royale. In 1969, seven strangers meet at the El Royale Hotel, located on the border of the two states, and have a chance to atone for the sins of the past before everything goes to hell. As in the Hotel Artemis, the company at El Royale is very colorful: a loser priest, a singer, a vacuum cleaner salesman, an impressionable southern woman and her sister, a charismatic cult leader who likes to dance half naked in the rain. Goddard's painting is rightfully one of the most anticipated films of the fall, and for now, all that remains is to admire the new posters that introduce viewers to the central characters. Shane Black's Predator, which 20th Century Fox is going to bring to Comic-Con in July, has got another poster. Representatives of the major have already promised that the atmosphere in the blockbuster turned out to be unique, although information was leaked to the press in the spring that due to the negative reaction of the focus groups, the ending of the film was re-shot almost completely. Hopefully, despite the changes, the Predator has retained Black's style of combining black humor with ultra-violence.
