Tarantino wants to return to Cannes

Image In 1994, the young director Quentin Tarantino brought the film Pulp Fiction to the 47th Cannes Film Festival. The film had the effect of an exploding bomb and brought the American director the main award of the film screening - the Golden Palm. As it became known, Quentin expects to return to the Cote d'Azur to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his epoch-making film and present to the public a new project - "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood".

Following his Cannes triumph, Tarantino won several other prestigious awards with Pulp Fiction, including Golden Globe, BAFTA and Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. It seems that the eminent director is not averse to repeating the same path with his new film.

The 72nd International Cannes Festival will start on May 14. Film forum director Thierry Fremault told reporters that Quentin hardly leaves the editing room to have time to prepare Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Insiders do not rule out that the world premiere of Tarantino's ninth film will take place on May 21. It was on this day a quarter of a century ago that "Pulp Fiction" was shown for the first time in Cannes.
