The director of ”Birdbox” is not averse to making a sequel
Danish director Suzanne Bier has not given up on a possible sequel to her post-apocalyptic thriller Bird Box, according to ScreenRant. It's only been a month since the movie came out on Netflix, but it's already incredibly successful. In the first week, the picture gathered 45 million viewers in front of the screens, and its open ending allows you to tell the continuation of the story.Based on the debut novel by Josh Malerman, the tape tells about invisible creatures, because of which a wave of mass suicides began. If you look at them, then a person will see his worst nightmare. Survivors, to avoid death, are forced to constantly walk with a bandage over their eyes. The plot revolves around Melori (Sandra Bullock) trying to protect her children. Netflix has not officially confirmed the development of a sequel, but Beer said in an interview that there is still a chance of a sequel. The director answered the journalists' questions: “We recently finished the film! It's funny that people are already asking about the sequel, and I have to say, `` Wait, wait, we just filmed it! '' So let's just enjoy the feed for now. ”  A sequel to Bird Box could answer the questions posed by the original and show the invisible creatures that were originally filmed but cut from the final cut.
