Pedro Pascal will face the Amazon
Following the disastrous release of Justice League, which critics and audiences alike took very negatively, Warner Bros. has high hopes for the solo projects of Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot. As Aquaman prepares to hit the big screens this year, Patty Jenkins has set her sights on getting Gadot a decent company on set. Oscar-nominated Kristen Wiig ("Bachelorette Party in Vegas"), the future DC MCU Cheetah, recently joined the cast of the film. As the publication of The Hollywood Reporter found out, she was joined by Pedro Pascal, known to TV fans as Javier Penya from the crime drama Barygi.The details of the plot are kept in the strictest confidence. It is only known that the events of the second part will develop in the 80s of the last century against the backdrop of the Cold War. Jenkins will co-script the sequel with Jeff Jones and Dave Callaham.  For her and Pedro Pascal, who previously crossed paths on the set of In Sight, working on Wonder Woman will be the first reunion since 2015. The actor has already appeared in the action comedy "Kingsman: The Golden Circle", and is now involved in the filming of the sequel to "The Great Equalizer" and "Triple Border" by JC Chandor.
