Emma Thompson gets into the Christmas spirit
Emma Thompson, star of the famous comedy Love Actually, will take part in the creation of another Christmas film. As it became known to the publication Deadline, the Englishwoman sold the script for the film "Last Christmas" to Universal.Thompson is known to film fans not only as a multifaceted actress, but also as a talented screenwriter. She won one of her two Oscars for her role in Howards End Manor, and the other for her work on the adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. The script for "The Last Christmas" Emma wrote in a duet with the young British artist and playwright Briony Kimmings. The details of the plot of the picture are still kept secret. According to preliminary information, the audience will be waiting for a romantic story, which will take place in London. The film will be directed by renowned Hollywood director Paul Feig ("The Spy").  Insiders find it difficult to say whether Emma Thompson plans to play one of the main roles in the tape.
