Ryan Reynolds continues to reap the rewards of the success of the Deadpool franchise, which has made him one of the most sought-after actors in the Dream Factory. As it became known to the publication Deadline, the Canadian has signed up for the lead role in the comedy action movie Free Guy.The film was written by young Hollywood writer Matt Lieberman. In 2016, his text was included in the list of finalists of the prestigious The Hit List competition and evoked pleasant associations among film critics with the plots of The Matrix, The Thirteenth Floor and The Truman Show. A co-production from 20th Century Fox, Berlanti Productions and 21 Laps, the film features a humble bank clerk who will one day realize that he is just a minor NPC in a gripping PC game. By all laws of the genre, fate will give an unremarkable clerk a chance to become the Chosen One and save the game world from danger. The film will be staged by the director of Living Steel and the popular mystical TV series Mysterious Events, Sean Levy.  At the moment, Ryan Reynolds is busy filming the mysterious action movie Michael Bay 6 Underground, and ahead of him is work on the sequel to Hitman's Bodyguard, the adaptation of the board game Clue, and, of course, the return to the image of Deadpool in X-Force and another solo album talkative mercenary.
