Kruger and Bana will recruit Mossad
One of the most powerful roles in Eric Bana's career was the image of the Mossad agent Avner Kaufman in the historical drama Munich by Steven Spielberg. As it became known to The Hollywood Reporter, the Australian actor is ready to play another Israeli intelligence officer. Bana decided to join his Troy co-star Diane Kruger in the cast of the spy thriller tentatively titled Operative.The plot of the film by the American company Black Bear Pictures will be based on the book "English Teacher" by Iiftah Reicher Atir. The work of the former Mossad employee became a bestseller in Israel and deserved flattering comparisons with the works of such a recognized master of the detective genre as John le Carre. Kruger will appear on the screen as an experienced spy who agrees to work for Israeli intelligence. To prepare the heroine Diane for a top-secret mission in Tehran, the Mossad authorities assign a curator to her, performed by Eric Bana ...  The film will be directed by Yuval Adler, who has earned a lot of flattering reviews for his debut film Bethlehem, which centered on an Israeli agent and his Palestinian informant. The 2013 film has won six Israel Film Academy Awards and is set to receive an American remake. By now, Adler has already worked in the United States. His first English-language project was the popular TV series Shooter, whose creators entrusted him with the production of the first two episodes of the second season.
