The creator of La La Lenda will be registered on TV
The world of television continues to lure top Hollywood stars into its networks. Last spring, it became known that Oscar-winning director Damien Chazelle had responded to an offer to work on the eight-part musical series The Eddy. As it became known to the New York Times, since that time the director of "Obsession" and "La La Lenda" managed to compose the script for another television project.The details of the plot of the new series Chazelle are still kept secret. It is only known that Apple's television department has already agreed to support the project. It seems that the bosses of the American corporation were not cunning when they said that they intend to seriously compete with such online services as Amazon, Hulu and Netflix. The Apple TV department was formed last summer, but has already taken on a reboot of the famous Amazing Stories anthology, a space drama from the creator of Battlestar Galactica, and a fantasy series from the author of Peaky Blinders and Taboo. Damien is expected to serve as the sole writer and director for all episodes of the first season of Apple's as-yet-untitled project. Fred Berger and Jordan Horowitz, who assisted him in the creation of La La Lenda, will share producer functions with Chazelle. The telenovelty will be produced by Media Rights Capital, whose track record includes the crime drama The Ozarks and the sci-fi thriller The Other Side.  At the moment Damien Chazelle is busy on the set of The First Man. The USA premiere of the biographical drama about the life of astronaut Neil Armstrong is scheduled for November 22.
