In Search of the Surreal Self
Mike Monroe ("Independence Day: Rebirth") and Dylan O'Brien ("The Maze Runner") will meet on the set of Christopher McBride's mystical thriller The Education of Fredrick Fitzell, reports The Hollywood Reporter. McBride, whose last film, 2012's Conspiracy, was critically acclaimed, is not only the director, but also the screenwriter of the new film.The plot of the film will focus on the story of a young man who, after an unexpected meeting, embarks on a fascinating journey through the past, present and alternative future in order to find a solution to a long-forgotten secret. According to the producers of the project, Christopher McBride came up with a story that goes beyond the genre and presents viewers with a surreal view of a person on the verge of total collapse. In addition to Mikey and Dylan, the actress Hannah Gross, known for the Mindhunter series, which was treated kindly by the press and the audience, gave her consent to the shooting.
