Last night with Matt Smith
Director Edgar Wright continues to assemble a team for his secret project, called Last Night in Soho. Following Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith (Doctor Who) and the young Thomasin McKenzie joined the cast of the film, whose breakthrough was the critically acclaimed drama My Loneliness.There is little official information about Wright's new project. Firstly, it will combine elements of horror and psychological thriller, and secondly, its action will unfold in London's Soho district. Shooting will take place there in the summer. The idea for the painting belongs to Wright himself, and with the script he was helped by Christy Wilson-Cairns ("Boulevard Horrors"). Events will take place in two time periods - the 60s and today. Anya Taylor-Joy will play in the part dedicated to the 60s, and Matt Smith will become something like her manager, that is, the heroine Taylor-Joy may be an actress or a singer. As for Thomasin McKenzie, she will try on the image of a student studying fashion already at the present stage.  After "My Loneliness" McKenzie became a very popular actress: among the many upcoming projects with her participation appear "Jojo Rabbit" by Taiki Waititi and "The True Story of the Kelly Gang" by Justin Kurzel. Matt Smith also boasts a couple of interesting works - he recently signed on to shoot in Morbius and will also appear in the ninth episode of Star Wars.
