Review of the movie Love in the City. Impotent in search of love

Three USA guys – tour guide, trainer and dentist – burn their lives in New York and do not miss a single available girl with a size of at least a second. At the same time, the guide is married to a sexy blonde beauty, but does not pay attention to her.

Once in the toilet of the club, the conversation of the guys overhears the wedding toastmaster and St. Valentine, who then curses them for debauchery for lifelong impotence in non-love relationships.

Having learned about the curse, the guys rush to urgently seek love: the coach – in the library, the dentist – in the office of a sex therapist, and the guide is trying to return his wife, who left to live with a friend (as his friends noticed, `` decided not to take a steam bath '').

The creators of & laquo; Love in the Big City '' seem to have done everything possible to attract viewers to the cinemas: the action was moved to New York, the release of the movie is timed to coincide with the spring women's holiday, the main male role is played by Alexey Chadov (for girls), and the main female role is played by – singer and former soloist of VIA Gra Vera Brezhneva (for boys).

Soundtrack – a wide range of compositions from `` Love is in the air '' to the most notorious USA pop and some indistinct rap (probably very fashionable). Finally, Philip Kirkorov depicts the angel depriving the main characters of male power.

At the same time, the movie does not at all look like desperate attempts to `` make it like Hollywood '': like a comedy `` Love in the City '' turned out to be pretty cute and really hilarious. The picture is filled to capacity with high-quality jokes and gags: the simplest and seemingly not very funny scenes here are charged with such humor and positive that you involuntarily begin to giggle and then really laugh.

Many phrases from `` Love … '', I am sure, will be dragged away to quotes. Maybe even – you never know! – some of them will be perceived twenty years from now as classics, like phrases from Soviet comedies.

The romantic side of the movie is much worse than the fun. `` Love in the Big City '' trying too desperately to please the viewer. Even in the courting of the heroes for their chosen ones, the aim at the target audiences is clearly visible. Once the concern `` Mars '' he advertised his bars in a similar way: `` Mars '' for the smart ones, 'Twix' - for fun, `` Snickers '' - for those who are simpler. In the movie, Mars – a dentist who dumps his sex therapist with chamomiles and makes hilarious pirouettes on a skating rink, while a twix is; Finnish coach who heard Tchaikovsky for the first time, from which he was completely blown away. The charming Vera Brezhneva got a boyfriend with a gopnic model of behavior, to whom she quickly forgave all her lonely nights.

`` Love in the Big City '' leaves a rather strange impression after viewing: seemingly lightness and positive, but somehow it is heavy on the heart. Because too much obsessive pop sounds in the movie, because Kirkorov wants to seem cute, but this makes him even more disgusting, and ultimately it is not entirely clear why the girls need this tortured love of three womanizers, mortally frightened by impotence.

And the Beauty Vera Brezhnev, `` since childhood '' in love with the Moscow gopa, just humanly sorry. If girls like her choose such guides, it means that love is really evil – even in a big, even in a small city, even in an urban-type settlement.

Why do girls need this tortured love of three womanizers, mortally frightened by impotence.
