Towards the Stars
At the end of last year, we reported that Apple Corporation had begun creating a multi-part space-themed drama. The intriguing project was entrusted to Hugo Prize winner Ronald D. Moore, whose track record includes such famous series as Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, Spiral and Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams. According to TVLine, Apple's space drama has safely moved into the casting stage.The title and plot details of the series are still kept secret. It is expected that its action will unfold in an alternative reality, in which the intense space race between the USA and the USSR continues. As it became known to foreign journalists, NASA astronaut Edward Baldwin will play a key role in the events of the first season. Yuel Kinnaman will appear as a brave space explorer. The Swedish actor already has experience in leading roles on TV thanks to such popular projects as the crime drama Murder and the fantasy action Altered Carbon.  Kinnaman will be accompanied on the screen by two more actors, whose names are well known to fans of North American television. Michael Dorman ("The Patriot") and Sarah Jones ("Sons of Anarchy", "The Curse") will appear as married NASA employees Gordo and Tracy Stevens.
