American History of Corruption

Image Television producers have taken up a gun that cannot fail to shoot - Annapurna Television will shoot a miniseries about the recent corruption scandal that rocked the United States. The plot will be based on the upcoming book by journalists Melissa Korn and Jenn Levitz, Accepted. They were investigating the case for the Wall Street Journal.

The script for the project will be written by D. W. De Vincentis (American Crime Story). The number of episodes has not yet been specified, but it is known that the duration of each episode will be one hour.

In March, a large-scale corruption scandal unfolded in the United States around the country's top universities. The case involved a consulting company that was bribed by parents to allow their children to enter universities and local sports teams without being athletes. Dozens of people were found guilty, including Lori Loughlin ("So-so Vacation") and Felicity Huffman ("Desperate Housewives"). The latter immediately pleaded guilty, wrote an open letter of remorse and was released on a quarter million dollar bail. Laughlin refused to admit her guilt.
