The Kinotavr - 2019 program has become known
The organizers of the 30th Kinotavr Open Film Festival, which will take place in Sochi from June 9 to 16, announced the list of films of the Main Competition. The composition of the jury and the pictures of the opening and closing of the festival also became known.Konstantin Khabensky will head the jury this summer. Together with him, the winners will be chosen by: violinist and composer Aleksey Aigi, actress Anna Chipovskaya, director Rezo Gigineishvili, screenwriter Natalia Meshchaninova and cameraman Alisher Khamidkhodzhaev. At the opening, guests of the festival will see the film by Valery Todorovsky "Odessa". The film tells about the Moscow journalist Boris, who, during a visit to his wife's Odessa relatives, was locked up in the city due to quarantine. Boris is forced to plunge into the abyss of Odessa life, in which incredible adventures and tragic events await him.  "Kinotavr" will be closed by the drama "Frenchman" directed by Andrei Smirnov about the life of a French student in Moscow in the 50s of the last century.
