Venom lost 40 minutes
Almost every major Hollywood studio is involved in producing blockbuster superhero films these days, but it seems that only Marvel has an idea of what it is shooting for and for whom. Now from Hollywood came disturbing news about the fate of Sony's Venom.Recently, the film company confirmed rumors in the air that the film would receive a PG-13 rating. Many fans of comics about the alien symbiote were disappointed that Sony chose to target a teenage audience and do without scenes with blood and ultraviolence. To reassure the audience, director Ruben Fleischer announced that he immediately planned to shoot a picture with a children's rating. However, now it turned out that the director could be cunning, and he still had to lower the age limit of "Venom" under pressure from the studio management. Tom Hardy gave rise to such suspicions. During an interview with ComicsExplained, the actor was asked to name his favorite scenes from the film, to which he gave a very unexpected answer. "Some fragments did not make it into the picture," said Hardy. -We have from 30 to 40 minutes of finished material, which will not be in the distribution of the film. The actor's words make it clear that Fleischer had to cut out many dark scenes in order for the film to qualify for a PG-13 rating.
