JJ Abrams Gathers Friends
Greg Granberg can be called the mascot of JJ Abrams. Not only have the actor and director been friends since childhood, but Granberg also appeared in many projects filmed or produced by Abrams. Among them there are the series "Felicity", "Spy", "Lost", the third part of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise and even "The Force Awakens". Now that Abrams is leading the filming of the ninth episode of the space saga, he decided to work with an old friend again. The portal Deadline reports.In The Force Awakens, Granberg appeared as the pilot of Temmin "Snap" Wexley, who was part of Black Squadron. He participated in the attack on the Starkiller base, but was not seen in The Last Jedi, and therefore the fate of Wexley remained a mystery to the audience. It is noteworthy that the source does not know who Granberg will play in the ninth episode. Perhaps he got a different role. Granberg hinted at his appearance in the new "Star Wars" in July "Comic-Con". He will be accompanied on the set by both the old-timers of the franchise, and newcomers in the person of Matt Smith and colleague on the TV series "Felicity" Keri Russell.
