The Flash Rides Again
Once they claimed to be the director's chair of the new "Spider-Man", but John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein failed to realize their ambitions in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and now they decided to try their luck in the camp of DC superheroes.According to the Variety portal, the filmmaker duo is in talks with Warner Bros. about being the head of The Flash. It is noteworthy that they were not the first candidates in the Major's list, since they first offered Ben Affleck the position of director. But the latter apparently decided to stay away from the DC MCU for now and turned down the studio bosses. Despite the fact that the directors of the film "Spider-Man: Homecoming" John Francis Daly and Jonathan M. Goldstein did not become, the script for the solo album still belongs to their authorship. The blockbuster about Peter Parker successfully combined elements of comedy and drama, so the same can be expected from The Flash. Before diving headlong into the world of superheroes, Francis Daly and Goldstein practiced comedic skills. In their filmography you can find the film "The Incredible Bert Wonderstone", two parts of "Horrible Bosses", and their debut in directing was "Vacation". Very soon, another film by the duo will open in cinemas - the comedy Night Games.  In November 2016, The Flash once again lost its director, and since then, the WB management has been looking for a replacement for Rick Famuyive. So far, the DC Universe is not going shaky or badly, but recently the studio again carried out a staff reshuffle, appointing Walter Hamada to curate all of its comic strips.
