Charlize Theron will be at the center of a sex scandal
At the end of 2016, we reported that Annapurna Pictures had begun work on a film about a high-profile scandal involving the American media mogul Roger Ayles. A year and a half later, the biographical drama finally made it to the casting stage. According to Deadline, Oscar winner Charlize Theron became the first cast member in the role of Megyn Kelly, a famous political columnist.Ayles began his television career in the early 1960s. Through his participation in the Republican presidential campaigns, he quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the most influential figures in the American media space. Since the mid-90s, Roger has served as chairman of the board of the popular Fox News. In the summer of 2016, Ayles was charged with sexual harassment by his former employee Gretchen Carlson. Roger tried to hush up the incident, but the TV presenter was unexpectedly supported by her colleague Megyn Kelly. After the Fox News star revealed new information about Ailes' dirty tricks to the press, he had to write a letter of resignation. The severance pay of the loving media mogul was $ 40 million.  The as-yet-untitled biographical drama will be chaired by four-time Emmy winner Jay Roach (Trumbo), who is set to write the script for Oscar-winning Charles Randolph (The Selling Game).
