Venom will be left out of the Marvel Universe
Although Marvel has managed to incorporate Peter Parker into its cinematic universe, Sony still retains the rights to use many other Spider-Man comic characters. Several years ago, its leaders announced their desire to build their own superhero franchise, the first film of which will be "Venom". As it became known to the Entertainment Weekly edition, the tape about the alien symbiote has nothing to do with the Marvel studio comics.Although information about the autonomy of the two universes looks quite expected, many viewers indulge in the dream of seeing Venom in the company of the heroes of the movie "Spider-Man: Homecoming". The hope for the appearance of Tom Hardy in Marvel films was given by the former head of Sony Amy Pascal. Last June, Kevin Feige hinted that the work on the paintings about Venom and other heroes of the graphic novels about Spiderman will take place without any participation from his studio. To the surprise of the President of Marvel, just a few days later, Pascal, right in his presence, gave journalists completely the opposite information. For a whole year, fans of cinema could not understand if Venom would turn out to be part of the Marvel universe. Rumors of a connection between the two franchises only intensified when rumors circulated on the Internet that the performer of the role of Peter Parker, Tom Holland, dropped in on the set of the picture.  Entertainment Weekly claims that Venom and last year's Spider-Man are set in completely different worlds. If there is a Spiderman in the Sony universe, he shouldn't be like Holland. At the same time, neither the leaders of Marvel, nor representatives of Sony have yet to react to this information. It is possible that viewers will be able to verify the truth or falsity of the information of the EW publication only on the day of the release of "Venom" on the screens.
