Home is where the heart is
According to the portal Deadline, producer Aaron Magnani has acquired the rights to film adaptation of Dan Hackelbridge's adventure novel "Castle on the Water". Written by Peter Arneson, Magnani himself and Brendan Denin will be producing. The search for a director is underway.The novel tells the story of two survivors of a plane crash - an American and a French woman, recently widowed, who are trying to escape on a tropical island, proving that love can do much. “This is a fun and exciting story about love, bereavement and survival amid unexpected blows of fate, says Magnani. -Two representatives of different cultures and with completely different outlooks save each other - literally and figuratively. ”  Magnani was the executive producer of The Last Word with Shirley McLaine and Amanda Seyfred, released on Bleecker Street in March 2017. His company is currently working with Alicia Allen, who is working on a biopic about Hattie McDaniel, the first black actress to win an Academy Award.
