Robert Zemeckis will teach androids how to fight
During his long and successful career in Hollywood, Robert Zemeckis managed to send viewers to the cartoon world, to a desert island and back to the future. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-winning filmmaker is preparing for a new exciting film journey. Zemeckis will produce the sci-fi action game Steel Soldiers *, set in a futuristic world where people fight alongside androids.Based on the script by Ken Kaufman (Space Cowboys, The Expendables 2), the protagonist of the film will be a special forces veteran who will be tasked with leading a platoon of high-tech, but completely unprepared for military operations, android soldiers. Soon an experienced soldier will turn his charges into elite fighters ready to perform the most dangerous missions. Longtime business partners Jack Rapk (The Outcast, Borgia) and Jacqueline Levine (The Walk) share production functions with Zemeckis.
