Dame Joan Collins will return to movie screens
Joan Collins' fascinating life story has long been asking for the big screen. It looks like a holiday has finally arrived on the street of admirers of the legendary British actress. The 85-year-old film, theater and television star admitted to British journalists that she is in talks to create a biographical drama about her life.Collins began her film career at the age of eighteen. Four years later, the talented starlet moved to the United States and achieved good success in Hollywood. Joan came to worldwide fame in the early 80s when she joined the cast of the TV series Dynasty. Ratings for the soap opera immediately went up, and soon it became the most watched series on American TV. The role in the family saga earned Collins superstar status and a Golden Globe. Joan Collins is also famous for her charity work. In 2015, her many years of work in this field were awarded the Order of the British Empire and the title of lady.  Collins hopes that graduates of her alma mater, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, will take part in the making of the film. “I want to be played by at least two actresses, - Joan admitted. -One would have embodied my image in my youth, and the second - in the years of maturity. I think Emily Blunt would be a good choice for the second option. ” The name of the studio, which is in talks with Joan Collins, is still under wraps.
