Who advised to kill Laura Palmer?

Image Part2 Pictures will shed light on one of the most mysterious crimes in American history. According to The Wrap, the New York studio has acquired the rights to film the novel by David Bushman and Mark Givens, Blonde, Beautiful, and Dead: The Murder Mystery That Inspired Twin Peaks.

On July 7, 1908, a group of teenagers walking along the beach in the small coastal town of Sand Lake discovered the corpse of a young woman. The body was so badly disfigured that the police had to identify the drowned woman from her clothes and a dental card. The victim of the crime was the local beauty Hazel Drew. The forensic experts found out that the girl received a fatal blow to the head, after which her body was thrown into the water. The police soon found out that Hazel was leading a double life. The victim's relatives swore and swore that the girl did not have a friend, while other witnesses made it clear that Drew had affairs with several men at once. Investigators took a couple of suspects in pencil, but in the end, Hazel's murder was never solved.

The mysterious incident in the state of New York, of course, reminded the connoisseurs of the world of television the plot of the legendary series "Twin Peaks". The thing is that Mark Frost's grandmother was born in Sand Lake. From early childhood, the future screenwriter listened to her chilling stories about the famous crime and eventually came up with the plot of the mystical drama about the murder of Laura Palmer.
