Guaranteed (not) security. Trailer for the drama ”Hotel Mumbai: Confrontation”

Image In November 2008, after a successful premiere at several film festivals, the drama "Slumdog Millionaire" was released in the United States, bringing worldwide fame to the actor Dev Patel. At the end of the same month, a number of terrorist attacks were carried out in Mumbai, and, by coincidence, more than ten years later, Patel, in the company of other Hollywood stars, will tell viewers the story of people caught in the path of terrorists.

Based on true events, Hotel Mumbai: Confrontation will re-enact the 2008 tragedy at the Taj Mahal on the big screens. The act of horrific violence brings together the guests and employees of a luxury hotel - newly minted parents, a USA businessman and a waiter, who must fight desperately to survive as the whole world watches as terrorists destroy human lives.

Patel played a waiter who risked his own life to save hotel guests. He was accompanied by Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name), Nazanin Bonyadi (Ben Hur), Jason Isaacs (The Patriot) and Anupam Kher (My Boyfriend Is Crazy). “Hotel Mumbai” is Anthony Maras's directorial debut in full-length, and according to reviewers, it is also very successful. The director, who previously specialized in short films, has created a humane and at the same time heartbreaking story that reproduces the events in Mumbai in detail, and so realistically that the picture is sometimes difficult to watch. Thanks to this, she has already earned comparison with the critically acclaimed dramas Lost Flight and Uteia, July 22.
