Natalie Emmanuel will attend four weddings and one funeral
Streaming service Hulu, which announced the reboot of the 90s British romantic comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral in November last year, is completing the cast.According to The Wrap, Natalie Emmanuel will play the lead role, which Jessica Williams originally got. Earlier it was announced that the new series will star Rebecca Rittenhouse ("Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far") and John Reynolds ("Mysterious Events"), joined by Brandon Michael Smith ("You Are Vice). Hulu also managed to maintain a bond with the original film by signing Andy McDowell to guest star in the reboot. She will play the mother of one of the heroines. The plot of the new show is built around a group of friends: Maya (Emmanuelle), Craig (Smith), Ainsley (Rittenhouse) and Duffy (Reynolds). The four meet in London for a wedding ceremony, but their lives turn to chaos after the startling news breaks out at the altar. Friends will have to go through a tumultuous year filled with romantic adventures and betrayal, adversity and scandals. And, of course, it will have four weddings and one funeral.  Zoe Boyle (Sons of Anarchy), Jenny Jacques (Vikings) and Harish Patel (Run Fat Man Run) will also take part in the project, which will be showrunner by Mindy Keiling. Filming will begin in 2019.
