The Joker ended his criminal career?
It seems that Jared Leto's participation in the DC cinematic universe runs the risk of being limited to one single film. It is rumored in Hollywood that Warner Bros. canceled all projects in which his character was supposed to appear.Leto's debut as Joker took place in the super villainous blockbuster Suicide Squad. Many DC Comics fans began to doubt the success of the new interpretation of the image of the Clown Prince of the Gotham underworld during the preproduction stage, when the studio published the first promotional material featuring the actor. The entire body of the Joker was covered with a tattoo, and iron crowns were visible on his teeth. However, as soon as the film was released, it became obvious that Jared's character would not be able to outshine the previous Joker played by Heath Ledger.  According to Leto, his acting could have evoked much more vivid emotions in the audience if the studio had not cut out many of the scenes with the Joker. Jared's bold remarks cast doubt on his future in the DC Universe. Apparently, the WB management is really ready to refuse the actor's services. Hollywood insiders reported today that the studio has canceled work on the solo album of the character Leto and the film Harley Quinn vs. Joker. The WB plans to create a sequel to "Suicide Squad", but that with a high degree of probability will be an easy reboot of the villainous film series. Rumor has it that not only the Joker, but also Harley Quinn, whom the studio has already involved in the plot of the film "Birds of Prey", will be behind him.  Even if Jared Leto does leave the DC universe, this does not mean that viewers will say goodbye to Batman's main rival for a long time.
