What the fans of the series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" have been waiting for has come true - he will get a second life. To the delight of fans of the show, some of the key figures from the original production team will be contributing to the reboot.According to CinemaBlend, the reboot will be executive produced by none other than Buffy's mastermind Joss Whedon. The script for the potential series was written by Monica Breen, who worked with Whedon on Agents of SHIELD, and she plans to act as showrunner for the new project. It is reported that he gave her some wishes for the script, so fans can be sure that the main theme of the schoolgirl, ruthless to vampires and other evil spirits, will remain a priority and the way they remember her. However, there is one significant difference that no one can fail to notice - the image of the new Buffy will be embodied by a black actress. The reboot is expected to be based on the mythology of the original series, while making the show's world similar to ours. The new Buffy will seek answers to contemporary questions, using metaphors to initiate dialogue and explore issues from different angles.  The project is not yet tied to any streaming platform or TV channel. In addition, besides the main role of Buffy, there have not been any other castings yet; the reboot and the director do not have any. Everything is in very early stages of development right now, but the producers want to bring the series to the streaming and cable bosses this summer. It is also not disclosed what kind of function Joss Whedon will take on, especially given the large number of other projects he is currently working on and which are time-consuming.
