Nathan Drake doesn't give up
A few weeks ago, the film adaptation of the video game Uncharted was once again left without a director. However, the Sony studio has high hopes for the project, and therefore quickly found a replacement for Sean Levy, who preferred to do comedy action with Ryan Reynolds in the title role.According to the Variety website, the adaptation is now entrusted to Dan Trachtenberg ("Cloverfield, 10"). He will be the fourth film maker to try to solve the Uncharted mystery. Recall that the series of video games tells about the adventures of Nathan Drake, searching for mythical cities and ancient treasures. All of these games are like movie blockbusters, which makes it even more interesting to see if Sony can replicate the success of Jumanji in the case of Uncharted. The management of the major plans to create an entire franchise, and Tom Holland was invited to play the role of Drake ("Spider-Man: Homecoming"). The film adaptation will not be an exact copy of the original games, but a prequel to the adventures of young Nathan.  At the dawn of his directing career, Dan Trachtenberg filmed the video game Portal, based on it in the short film Portal: Nowhere to Run.
