Mandalore Meets Recruits
Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Karl Weathers, Omid Abtahi and Werner Herzog have joined the filming of the upcoming Star Wars videogame series, reports Variety. The Mandalorian also features Pedro Pascal, Nick Nolte and Gina Carano. Information about the new characters has not yet been disclosed.Recall that the show will unfold after the fall of the Empire and before the formation of the First Order. The series will tell about a lone gunner, played by Pascal. His hero travels to remote corners of the galaxy far from the rule of the New Republic. Esposito is familiar to our viewers for his role as Gustavo Fring in the series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Swallow has appeared in Supernatural, Weathers has played in The Colony, and Abtahi has appeared in Extremes and American Gods. The iconic director Herzog, who won the Palme d'Or for Fitzcarraldo, recently starred in the drama Salt and Fire.  The series will premiere on the Disney + streaming service.
