Social Network may receive a sequel

Image Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin hinted at a possible sequel to David Fincher's drama about Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In an interview with AP Entertainment, the popular Hollywood screenwriter stated that it was time to film a sequel to the successful drama. “I know a lot more about Facebook in 2005 than I know about the state of the social network now, but I guess it's time to shoot a sequel,” Sorkin said jokingly.

Aaron hinted that he is not the only one who thinks so. It seems that the producer of the tape, Scott Rudin, is also not averse to developing a sequel. “I received a bunch of letters from him with articles attached and the text 'Isn't it time to shoot a sequel?'- the writer shared, -After the film finale, where Zuckerberg won a lawsuit against the Winklevoss twins, it happened many very interesting and dramatic events".

Recently, Facebook has often found itself at the center of scandals. The company's CEO, played by Jesse Eisenberg, has been heavily criticized for leaking the personal data of social network users. The site has also suffered from other PR nightmares, from the Cambridge Analytica story, attacks on George Soros and propaganda of political violence in Myanmar, to interference in the last US presidential election.
