Today the talented actor, winner of the Oscar with more than 60 works in cinema, Adrian Brody celebrates his 45th anniversary.Brody was born in 1973 in New York into a Jewish family. His father worked as a history teacher and his mother was a photojournalist. According to the birthday man, from a young age he dreamed of becoming an actor. But the boy began his career in a very funny and non-standard way - he performed at children's parties, introducing himself as Adrian the Magnificent and showing tricks. His parents always supported his passion for acting, and it was at their insistence that Adrian entered the Fiorello LaGuardia High School of Music, Art and Performing Arts, after continuing his studies at the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. As for the first steps on stage, Adrian Brody began to play in theatrical productions as a schoolboy. In 1988, he made his debut in the television drama At Home, and a year later, the 16-year-old boy appeared on the big screen, playing a role in the anthology film New York Stories.  But, perhaps, the first notable work of the actor was Stephen Soderbergh's biographical drama "King of the Hill", which in 1993 was presented in the main competition of the Cannes Film Festival. They paid attention to a young novice with a peculiar appearance and piercing gaze, and with his further work he only continued to prove that he got into the profession for a reason and would stay here for a long time. Over the next ten years, Brody appeared in such films as Terrence Malick's war drama The Thin Red Line, Spike Lee's thriller Sam's Bloody Summer, the crime thriller Bullet, the Doll melodrama, Oxygen, The Bitterness of Love. , "History of the Necklace", "Bread and Roses". Each character, be it a shy eccentric, an insidious scoundrel, a seducer, a con man or a cold-blooded maniac, Adrian Brody endowed with his own special features and character, creating vivid and memorable images.  The hero of the day received worldwide fame and recognition of colleagues in 2002 thanks to his role in the biographical drama of Roman Polanski "The Pianist", where the actor played the famous Jewish musician Vladislav Shpilman, who was in Nazi-occupied Warsaw. In preparing for the role, Adrian also relied on the history of his own family: his father and grandmother were from Poland, and some of their relatives were victims of the Holocaust. In addition, the actor lost 13 kilograms and studied the works of Frederic Chopin for several hours a day. And in order to get even better into the role and understand how a person who has lost his family and home feels, Brody stopped communicating with his girlfriend, moved out of the apartment and sold the car. Such an attentive and responsible approach to work, as well as the masterful transformation of the actor on the screen, could not go unnoticed. The film has won numerous awards at various international film festivals, including the Palme d'Or in Cannes, and won seven Cesars, two British Academy Awards and three Oscars. Adrian Brody, then 29 years old, became the youngest ever to win an Academy Award for Actor.  After his triumphant appearance in The Pianist, Brody continued to act actively, choosing the most diverse roles. Night Shyamalan's thriller "The Mysterious Forest", a former military man from the film "Jacket" who has lost his memory, the famous Spanish matador from "Manolete", an adventurer and a swindler from "Brothers Bloom" ... In the past few years, the actor could be seen on television. In particular, he played the legendary illusionist Harry Houdini in the mini-series of the same name, and also appeared in the fourth season of the Peaky Blinders gangster saga.
