Bryce Dallas Howard to star in Elton John's biopic
Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World, Mysterious Forest) has joined the filming of the biopic Rocket Man about the life of musician and singer Elton John, according to The Hollywood Reporter.The actress will play the mother of the superstar, whose role went to Taron Edgerton ("Kingsman: The Secret Service"). Jamie Bell, known for Teleport, and Richard Madden (Bird Song) will also take part in the filming. The film tells us about the transformation of Elton John into a super popular figure, about his life, starting from the time of his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, his ascent to the rock scene in the 70s - 80s and getting rid of drug and alcohol addiction. Director Dexter Fletcher, who worked with Edgerton on Eddie The Eagle, will direct the film from a screenplay by Lee Hall. And the picture will be produced by Elton John himself with his husband David Furnish.  American actress Bryce Dallas Howard is known for such films as "The Servant" by Tate Taylor and "Life is Beautiful" by Jonathan Levin.
