Captain Marvel will meet unexpected enemies and allies
The main production team of the blockbuster Captain Marvel kicked off in Los Angeles last week. On this occasion, Marvel Studios decided to present to the public the cast of the first solo album of a female superhero in the history of its cinematic universe.The film tells the audience about the adventures of US Air Force officer Carol Danvers, who will find herself in the center of a galactic conflict between the alien races of the Skrulls and Kree. In 2016, at the Comic-Con festival, Marvel representatives announced that Oscar-winning Brie Larson will appear on the screens as the title character. To prepare for the role, Larson worked in the gym for nine months and was also instructed to fly fighters at the US Nellis Air Force Base.  Last summer, another portion of interesting information about the project came from the convention in San Diego: it became known that the action of the film will unfold in the 90s, and the audience will have a unique opportunity to see the young Nick Fury performed by Samuel L. Jackson. In October last year, Ben Mendelssohn signed a deal with Marvel Studios, who is rumored to have the role of the main antagonist of Captain Marvel. A month later, Jude Law joined the cast of the picture. The two-time Oscar nominee will portray the mentor of Larson's heroine - Walter Lawson, nicknamed Mar-Vell. Finally, last month, People star Gemma Chan, who was entrusted with the role of Dr. Minerva, was cast in the comic strip. The cast also includes Lashana Lynch, Algeniz Perez Soto, Ryun Temt and McKenna Grace, according to a press release released today. Information about their characters is still kept secret. On the set of the tape of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Robert Kazinski ("Pacific Rim") was also seen, but the official Marvel website for some reason did not mention his name in the press release.  The presentation of the blockbuster cast was not without loud surprises. As it became known, the plot of "Captain Marvel" will involve Ronan the Accuser and Korat the Chaser, who made their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the comedy action Guardians of the Galaxy. Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou will return to the images of these representatives of the Kree race.   In addition, Phil Coulson will play an important role in the script for Carol Danvers' solo album. The last time the hero of Clark Gregg appeared on the big screens in The Avengers, after which he was sent to conquer the world of television and became the protagonist in the series Agents of SHIELD.
