Tarantino Gathers Old Friends
Quentin Tarantino's films are always distinguished by sparkling dialogues, non-trivial plot moves and brilliant cast. The ninth directorial project of the two-time Oscar winner, the crime drama Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, will not be an exception.Details of the plot of the picture are still kept secret. It is only known that its action will unfold in the summer of 1969, and the cruel crimes of the sect of Charles Manson will play an important role in the narrative. Earlier, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt responded to the invitation to star in the film. The first will appear in the image of the released actor Rick Dalton. Pitt will play stuntman Cliff Booth, who for many years worked as an understudy for DiCaprio's hero on the set of the popular television western. Today representatives of the Sony studio have finally officially confirmed the participation in the film of Margot Robbie, whom they began to match in the project last summer. The Australian will be reincarnated as the American actress and model Sharon Tate, who became one of the victims of the "Family" commune.  The Deadline edition has become aware of the names of several more stars who have put their signatures on contracts with Sony. Supporting roles in the crime drama will be played by Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen, each of whom has collaborated with Tarantino in the past. Information about the characters of this trio has not yet been disclosed.  Quentin will also continue his good tradition of inviting film and television stars, whose fame peaked in the 70s, to his projects. This time he wrote the role for 82-year-old Burt Reynolds. The Oscar nominee will portray the half-blind farmer George Spahn, who allowed the Family to live on his ranch in exchange for intimate favors from Manson's henchmen.  Filming will begin this summer.
