Police Academy announces new recruitment
Film company New Line Cinema will return one of the most famous comedy franchises of the 80s to the screens. The management of the Hollywood studio is finally ready to get off the ground with work on the new part of the Police Academy.The long-awaited information about the fate of the long-term construction came from the twitter of Steve Gutenberg, who played the officer Carey Mahoney in the first four parts of the film series.New " Police Academy " already on the way, - the actor answered the question of his subscriber about the future of the franchise. A few years later, New Line Cinema bosses revisited their plans. In 2014, they set out to do a complete reboot of the franchise and recruited the stars of the Kee and Peel sketch show Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele to work on the film. Hollywood insiders are still at a loss to say whether this successful creative duo remains in the project and whether the studio intends to use one of the old-timers of the film series in it.
