Golden Raspberry 2019: Winners
The 91st Academy Awards will take place at the Dalby Cinema in California on Sunday night. By good tradition, the main event in the world of cinema was preceded by the distribution of awards for the most dubious achievements in this field of art. The winners of the Golden Raspberry Awards have been announced in Los Angeles.This year, the organizers of the anti-awards took a bad example from their colleagues at the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, who found themselves at the center of several scandalous stories. At the end of last month it was reported that one of the creators of the award, John Wilson, forged the final list of nominees for the "Golden Raspberry - 2019". So, the film "Fifty Shades of Freedom" received the most votes for inclusion in the category "Worst Remake, Parody or Sequel", but for some reason did not make it into the final five nominees. But the blockbuster "Meg: Monster of the Depth" got there, which took 11th place in the preliminary voting. The main triumphant of the 39th annual Golden Raspberry Awards was the Holmes and Watson tape. On account of the creators of the disastrous comedy, there were four figurines worth $ 4.79, including the award for the worst film of the past year.
