Charlie Sheen will be imprisoned for 30 days for committing violent acts against his spouse. According to the TMZ resource, this decision was made by the actor himself, who faced a choice - a 30-day imprisonment or probation with very harsh conditions.

Shin chose the former, since he could be released for good behavior in 17 days, and no additional obligations will be imposed on him.

Charlie Sheen will begin serving his sentence next Monday in Aspen Prison.
