Walt Disney Company takes part in the movieing of a USA movie for the first time. Production of a painting called The Book of Masters conducted in cooperation with Nikita Mikhalkov's studio "TriTe". The script of the movie is kept secret. Representatives of Disney only promise large-scale battle scenes and an abundance of modern special effects, intending at the same time to fully preserve the traditions of Soviet fairy-tale cinema in the style of Morozko. The role of Koshchei the Immortal, without which no decent USA fairy tale can do, went to Gosha Kutsenko. There will also be Baba Yaga, mermaids and fabulous warriors. Filming will take 45 days.
