TNT has movieed the sequel to Dallas, which is slated to air its first episode on June 13, 2012. New storylines will appear in the project, however, old reasons for controversy will remain. The news is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The new series is based on the original series of the same name, which ran from 1978 to 1991, and which consisted of 14 seasons. "Dallas" talked about the family of Texas oil tycoons, and what passions boiled there. Murder, alcoholism, revenge, betrayal - this is not a complete list of the main vices that the heroes face.

Former actors Patrick Duffy and Larry Hagman were convinced that the series could not continue, simply because no one knew how to do it.

According to the stars, they read a lot of weak scripts. “But then we heard that TNT and Warners wanted to launch this project. I then thought, 'Great, let's see what comes of this,” says Duffy. “In the end, I read the script and realized that companies can do it to do. What I felt then was Sold.
