Werner Herzog will teach guerrilla moviemaking
One of the brightest representatives of the `` German new wave '' Werner Herzog will open a movie school in the USA. Judging by the annotation posted on the official page of the educational institution, the style and methods of teaching will be far from traditional. Herzog himself describes the school as a place where only `` strip club bouncers and nurses from insane asylums '' can study. The director promises to teach them how to make movies in the most extreme conditions: bypassing bans, falsifying documents, using guerrilla tactics, etc. The first seminars will be held in Los Angeles in January 2010. The secrecy surrounding this project is such that all students will be prohibited from bringing recording equipment, laptops, cell phones and pagers into class.
