Steven Spielberg will release a movie about Abraham Lincoln only after the US presidential elections in 2012. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the famous director does not want his movie to be used in political games.
`` There will of course be battles in our project, fortunately, we got access to the historical battlefields in Virginia ... But the movie, of course, is not about them, but about the tremendous work that Lincoln did in the last months of his life, '' said Spielberg.
Recall that the 16th President of the United States will be played by Daniel Day-Lewis , to his wife Mary Todd - Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will also star in the movie.
Filming will begin in the fall of 2011.
