Cronenberg Videodrome will be relaunched
A new version of the famous painting by David Cronenberg "Videodrome" is being prepared. Film company Universlal plans to movie a remake based on a script by Eren Kruger. In the 1983 movie, the plot revolved around an attempt by the chief executive of the cable TV channel to increase its popularity with a program called Videodrome, which showcases torture and murder. Whether Cronenberg himself will be involved in creating the remake has not yet been announced. The Canadian director is currently preparing for the movieing of The Circle of Matarese, in which Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington may star.
