Josh Brolin to star in Oldboy Remake
Josh Brolin will star in the American remake of the acclaimed Korean movie Oldboy. This is reported by the Deadline resource. The plot will be centered around a character named Joe, who, on his daughter's birthday, without any explanation, is imprisoned in a hotel room where he will spend two decades. Once free again, he learns that he has only four days to get to the bottom of what happened. Otherwise, his daughter will be killed. The remake will be directed by Spike Lee, who will work with screenwriter Mark Protosevich. The original movie by Korean director Park Chan-Wook was based on the popular manga.
