It begins with a segment from the movie Wall Street, in which Douglas's character explains to the seminar participants that “greed is good.” The actor himself emphasized that the picture is a fiction, but in reality, the US economy is increasingly dependent on the efficiency and transparency of the financial system, and any deviations in it must be suppressed.
Recall that in the movie Wall Street; Douglas' character Gordon Gekko was convicted of using inside information on the exchange.
